Description of the Small Project

The Small Project aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation between SMEs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro by improving production technologies, product quality, and competitiveness in the field of metal flexible hoses and related components. Its specific objectives are to modernise production processes, introduce advanced technologies, transfer knowledge between partners, standardise production processes, and establish new local finishing capacities in Montenegro.

The main activities include the procurement and installation of modern production equipment, employee training, improvement and certification of welding and production processes, CNC-based production of hose fittings, establishment of metal hose finishing capacities, production and testing of product samples, and joint promotional and commercialisation activities.

The project will result in upgraded and more efficient production processes, improved product quality and certification, new in-house component production capacities, and an established metal hose finishing activity in Montenegro. Key outputs will include installed production equipment, trained employees, certified production processes, tested product samples, new and improved products, and joint promotional activities.

The expected achievements include higher production efficiency, reduced costs, increased product quality and added value, improved access to regional and EU markets, stronger cross-border value chains, and new employment opportunities. Through these results, the project will create a sustainable basis for long-term cooperation and growth of the participating SMEs.

Project Summary

The project brings together partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro to improve the production, quality, and competitiveness of metal flexible hoses and related components. Through investments in modern equipment, knowledge transfer, standardisation, and certification, the project will strengthen the cross-border value chain, develop higher value-added products, support access to new markets, and create new employment opportunities.
